If someone asked me to define my “style”, I would say it is intrinsic to my being. I believe style is such a contrived concept. People try so hard to create style, but it does not just happen one day. Style is a compilation of your perceptions that is as identifiable as your fingerprint. When you look at my designs, you are seeing a pictorial experience of all my life experiences drawn together in creative form.
Deliberate simplicity appeals to me. Each line, every form and color matters. I spend a lot of time thinking about placement - this type of order creates meaning for me. My fashion illustrations are perhaps the best illustration of the deliberate simplicity I love.
